Your search will be wider if you enter fewer options, e.g., only the year.
To narrow your search, include more options, e.g., year and author. The effect
of the narrowing will be cumulative. The "Keyword" option will search the
titles, subtitles, abstracts, and editor-derived keywords for exactly the
word you put in the box. If you type in a phrase, the results will include
citations that include any of the words in the phrase. Citations that include
all of the words in the phrase will appear first on the list of results.
This search engine does not understand synonyms or abbreviations. If your
search yields no results, try again with a more general or a more common term,
spell out an abbreviation if you have been using one (e.g., enter "personal
digital assistant" instead of "PDA"), and make sure that you are not limiting
the search by including other search options.
